☾ about the midnight channel
the midnight channel was created in july of 2026 as both a tribute to old-school video game blogs i used to spend hours on as a child and a good excuse to practice some good old HTML and CSS.
this isn't my first attempt at making a personal neocities page, my first one is almost 4 years old, but i didn't put much effort in maintaining it after its initial creation.
as you can probably tell, i got the name of this website from persona 4, even though i did not complete it (yet); i thought it sounded cool and mysterious enough.

☾ about the creator
i used to go by different usernames online, but now i've stuck with kirigoe (or kirig0e), which i started using after watching Perfect Blue, by satoshi kon.
i was born in italy, and outside of the digital world i'm an IT student.
contrary to popular belief, blue isn't my favorite color.
gaming (retrogaming especially) has been my main hobby for most of my life. my first console was an original PlayStation, with Tekken 2 and Bugs Bunny: Lost in Time being my first videogames.
i'm also a big nerd for anime. Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann changed my life for the better, and i use Matt/Mail Jeevas profile pics on most of my socials, because he's the best dressed character in all of fiction.
